Almost there

I'm looking forward to the end of November. I'm holding out hope that as December enters, these past two months will fade into a distant and not-too-pleasant memory. Frankly, I'm hoping that the string of bad luck fades as well.

Not all has been horrible. My trip to Nashville with my journalism students was awesome. Work continues to go well. But the homelife has been stressful. Haven't seen the significant other in ages because of scheduling conflicts. He works nights and I work days, so Saturday is usually all we have. And I've been sick. I'm heading to the doctor tomorrow for while I'm better, I'm not great.

My sooty situation is almost fixed--just waiting for two more bids so that the insurance adjuster and I can talk. My car is fixed. My computer is running. My kids are great. My newest book received 4 stars from Romantic Times Magazine.

So I'm trying to focus on the positives. I've been getting a lot of reading done. I'll get back to writing soon.

I'm promising myself.

Michele
